One score and seven years ago while working out in the “Y”, I noticed students going upstairs.  I became very curious and decided to see what was going on.  So I went upstairs to observe.  I sat thorough a class and was very impressed.

So, I said to myself that this would be a good opportunity for my son.  He joined and two months later I joined and I have been with the Kenryukan ever since.

It has been a wonderful journey.  The places I’ve been, the people I’ve met has been an honor.

Whoever thought that I would become an instructor?  I certainly did not, but I am very proud to be able to impart my knowledge and skills to the students who are coming up.
